Estate sale find Son Chief Art Deco period drop door toaster. Original cord was replaced awhile ago as the cloth wrap card that it was manufactured with is replaced with a later rubber version that is still in working condition. Unit is nickel plated with Bakelite handles and has drop down doors on both sides. This toaster comes from the c.a 1930's. It is a manual toaster as you will need to flip the toast to achieve toast on both sides of your slice.

 

The unit was made in the United States by Son Chief Electrics of Winsted, Connecticut.

 

Condition: very good vintage working and clean
